True Love?

Just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to, doesn’t mean they don’t love you with all they have.

Jim and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Jim suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there.

Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled Jim out.

When the Head Nurse Director became aware of Edna’s heroic act she immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as she now considered her to be mentally stable.

When she went to tell Edna the news she said, "Edna, I have good news and bad news. The good news is you’re being discharged, since you were able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of the person you love, I have concluded that your act displays sound mindedness. The bad news is, Jim, hung himself in the bathroom with his bathrobe belt right after you saved him. I am so sorry, but he’s dead."

Edna replied, "He didn’t hang himself, I put him there to dry. "How soon can I go home?"

  2. OMG!!!  LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!  That\’s a HOOT!!  One of the best jokes I\’ve ever heard!!
I was so happy to see a comment from you, Wendy.  I\’m glad that you\’re able to grab a moment here and there and pop around to say hello to your friends.  We\’ve all been missing you, too.
I\’m happy that you\’re Mother\’s spirit is there with you for Christmas.  It is very common for the women of the family to have a empathic connection without having one with the male members of the family.  Women are a lot more open to that sort of thing because they\’re much more sensitive.  Men can be very closed-minded, so it\’s harder for them to have that \’\’special\’\’ connection.  But, a Mother with their child is the strongest connection of all.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.  My family is celebrating Christmas this Saturday coming up, because both of my sons and their wives and my grandkids are going away for Christmas.  It will be the first time in 38 years that I haven\’t had my kids with me a Christmas….it\’s going to be very strange and sad and lonely….but, I\’ll survive.
    Hugs and Love,
