Given the feel and content of your site, I would suspect that you are very good at working with caregivers. I doubt that I sound as odd to you about euthanizing my youngest "child" as I may to most as you also appear to get the PTSD and the animal connections. I have been a caregiver to my foster family of four, to the overstressed or mentally ill for all of my professional career, to my children and step-children, to my wife until she died beside me, and to every stray animal that wanted to hang around with us. I need to get back to writing about psychology and more productive topics, but "murdering" Boomer unleashed every memory of loss, abandonment, inability to help, etc., that I recall ever having suffered from. I am simply overwhelmed at the moment, and I know too much to help myself effectively. Thank you for dropping by and for your kind words.

Hello: I think filehut and filelodge must be one and the same…..when I tried that link you gave me it took me to my filelodge account….lol….very strange…..and I never received a message from them like that….but then I don\’t have a cell phone. I saw something on the show "Criminal Minds" that people can hack your computer if they have your cell phone number (or something like that). It was something to do with cell phones and hacking computers…lol.

Hi Rose! Thanks for stopping by my space. I enjoyed looking through some of your stuff. I\’ve seen the pictures of the bear before and we had something very similiar happen to our bird feeder at our cabin. We didn\’t see it happen, but it was the same setup…a feeder suspended, high up between two trees. When we saw the rope was snapped, we know ol\’ Smokey had been visiting again! Broke the feeder into 100 pieces! Darn bear. Have a good weekend…Cindy
Thanks for the links (many links) and your history vis a vis drafting. Engineering has changed incredibly in the 22 years I\’ve been in it – all with the same firm. I was met with hostility and petty malice in the beginning, as well as the usual less pay for the same or MORE work. Thankfully those days are gone.
As for the Mackintosh pictures: I\’m not sure where I\’ll go with this series of Architecture. I\’ve actually seen that building, walked by it many times when we stayed in Glasgow. I could explore the usual suspects regarding "great buildings" or go some other route.

I apologize for not having replied to your messages. I recently installed an update to my Anti-Virus which made working on my computer unmanageably slow. I finally bit the bullet and dumped it this morning.
First of all, you asked about the Photos of the National Assembly in Bangladesh. They were the only photos I could find online and they don\’t do justice at all to the incredibleness of these buildings. I was prompted to add them after seeing the documentary "My Architect" which was about Louis Kahn and made by his son. As documentaries go, it isn\’t very good but I would recommend it for the final scenes which are about the buildings and were Kahn\’s last work. I was able to borrow it from my library so perhaps yours might have it as well.
Thank you for the kind words on the passing of James Swanson. How can one adequately describe a boss who was a friend as well? I could write here forever and I could write nothing. I cannot put much of this into words. His loss to the company is incalcuable. His loss as a gentle presence in our lives. Thank you, again.
